2 Days Until LA Art Show 2024...
Lucy Hale, American Heart Association, Featured Exhibitions and Lots More!
The LA Art Show is set to open in two days, featuring an impressive lineup of over 100 exhibiting galleries and institutions, as well as special featured exhibitions from across the globe. Plan ahead and get your tickets for the LA Art Show, taking place at the LA Convention Center, West Hall from February 14-18.
The show kicks off with an Opening Night Premiere on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14, and featuring award-winning actress Lucy Hale (pictured) as the Celebrity Host. The premiere supports the American Heart Association, with 15 percent of the ticket sales being contributed to the American Heart Association’s Life Is Why™ Campaign.
Additionally, we're proud to present the 2024 edition of DIVERSEartLA, curated by Marisa Caichiolo. DIVERSEartLA brings together important local and international art institutions in a timely conversation expressed through the universal language of art.
This year’s program explores the intersection of memory, humanity, and AI, showcasing a selection of cutting-edge art, technology, and multimedia exhibitions.
Other highlights for this year's LA Art Show:
Young Masters, a not-for-profit initiative launched in 2009 by Cynthia Corbett Gallery to support and showcase emerging artists worldwide through a triennial Art Prize and a program of exhibitions, focusing on works that respond to the art of the past.
The DIVERSEartLA Museum Acquisition Award.
Live musical performances by Korean artist Choi Sori.
Live painting session by artist Robert Vargas. Vargas is set to create a mural on-site, drawing inspiration from one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s last books, "The World House."
A performance by two Sirens, utilizing recycled materials for their depiction of survival in rising sea levels, offering a creative reflection on environmental challenges. Hibiscus TV is a collaboration between Amy Kaps and Kaye Freeman. In conjunction with Repairing the Future, an installation by Osceola Refetoff. Curated by Andi Campognone. Supported by the Museum of Art and History, Lancaster, CA. Specials thanks to Marisa Caichiolo for this project.
We are also excited for the return of the 2024 LA Art Show Gallerist Talks, proudly presented by Citi, the LA Art Show’s official bank partner. These live discussions will feature exhibiting gallerists and their artists, exploring the significant impact of art on society and fostering a deeper understanding of the creative process and its societal implications.
