August has Arrived. Knee Deep into Summer. Go Make Something.

August 03, 2022

Have you gone on vacation yet? Maybe staycation instead. There are plenty of cool things to do locally and it’s not hard to turn yourself into a tourist in the process. This is especially true if you look for things to do that you wouldn’t necessarily do. Are you a Disneyland person? Go to Magic Mountain. Go to the beach. How about a museum? Or a sporing event for those that don’t usually. Except for me. I’m a jinx to the home team (Dodgers). BTW, RIP Vin Scully. Where was I? Assisting with your staycation. Check out some of the suggestions below. It’s party season! And head on over to Poet’s Place to see what Linda has in store this month. And for the locals, she’s hosting Poet’s Place Live at The Makery, located in Little Tokyo, downtown. It’s The Makery’s first First Friday event. Come for a visit. Have some fun!

This is this weekend. Bead sows are fun. I should know. I’had a table at this show for years. I can’t help myself. I made quite a bit of stuff during the pandemic. Mention that you saw this and get 20% off your purchase. I dare you!
