LA Art Show Welcomes Actor, Singer Ashley Tisdale as Celebrity Host for Opening Night Premiere Benefiting St. Jude
The LA Art Show is thrilled that Ashley Tisdale, known for her singing, acting and beauty brand and interior design ventures, will be our celebrity host for the Opening Night Premiere Party benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wednesday, February 15.
Tisdale rose to fame in 2006 as Sharpay Evans in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical. The musical drama spawned two sequels and the 2011 spin-off, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. In 2007, Tisdale released her debut album, Headstrong, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
She also starred on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody series and the animated show Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, for which she earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2014.
In 2013, Tisdale announced work on her third studio album, releasing the promotional single "You're Always Here," and starred in the horror comedy film Scary Movie 5. She continued to appear in television roles, joining the main cast of Clipped (2015). She served as executive producer of the ABC Family television series Young & Hungry (2014–2018). In 2018, Tisdale returned to music with the release of the singles "Voices in My Head" and "Love Me & Let Me Go." Her third studio album and first in a decade, Symptoms, was released in 2019. Recently, Tisdale starred as Jenny Kenney in the CBS sitcom Carol's Second Act (2019–2020) and served as a panelist on the reality competition show The Masked Dancer.
In 2020, Tisdale founded, authored and curated the lifestyle blog and website, Frenshe, a community-based platform promoting wellness, health and self-care, which led to the launch of her skin-care/wellness/self-care line, Being Frensche. Tisdale has since launched Frensche Interiors, an interior design company.
She first became involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2013 when she visited the hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, she has participated in various campaigns such as St. Jude Walk/Run Los Angeles in 2016, Take 5 Together during the pandemic, 30 Days of CCAM – Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Thanks & Giving for St. Jude, and donated a portion of the proceeds from her song “You’re Always Here” to the hospital.
