We knew this could happen. We boycott, scream, march, call our representatives - resist. I’ve personally stopped shopping on any business that think diversity, equity, and inclusion are disposable. I don’t support a government that thinks people are disposable. Resist. Shop small. Inconvenience yourself, like you used to before a Target or Walmart were everywhere, and Amazon, no. Just no. Home Depot. No. Lowes. No. Look for the lists with the good guys and spend your dollars there. We can show them who is the economy.
Over at Poet’s Place Linda Kaye has gathered her monthly group of poets to vent about our situation, their lives, and all that good stuff. Go check it out. And where is the art this month? Below check out the variety of art opportunities presented to you. Get inspired.
Did you check out any of the art fairs last month? LA Art Show? Frieze? The Other Art Fair? Feliz? Did I miss any? I didn’t make it to all of them, cause there’s just not enough hours in the day. I did go to the LA Art Show and I always enjoy that show. It’s a great way to see a ton of art, in one place, at one time. Boom! Art over-load, but in a good way. Check out this video from the show.
I went to Frieze also. It was my first time and I felt cramped, not that inspired. Maybe a bigger venue would make it better. Maybe more space between the aisles.
