I’m starting this the day before election day. I’ll probably post it sometime tomorrow or the next day. Will we know what our future will be like? Oh hell no!! But from the looks of the polls and prediction markets, the orange icky one will be rebuked by the majority of the country. The stats are in and people that don’t usually vote are coming out in droves, and it’s not for the orange guys policies. What I’m encouraged with is that the politicians like James and Abdul and Angie are talking about the issues, and not taking the bait the crappy media tries to inflict on them. They’re talking issues. And calling out the dumbass Republicans. It’s going to be a wild ride. And we won!! What a night! FDT!
Now I’ll get to the art. We are in art season, having just left spooky season (not really), and for me birthday season. There are happenings all around town. There’s The Brewery Art Walk, Arroyo Arts Collective Discovery Tour, The Adam’s Forge Forge Fest, and a ton of openings. It’ll all be listed below. Also, go over to Poet’s Place to see what the poets have to say. We’ll see who Linda is sharing with us.
