February - LA Art Week is Coming

The LA Art Show went back to its earlier time slot last month. Did you go? I love art fair season because it allows the public to get large doses of art, concentrated in each venue. The rest of the art fairs are coming at the end of February. Frieze, The Other Art Fair, Start Up, and Felix are all coming up. So much art to see. Which show will you attend? I’m going to try to go to them all. I always find myself inspired to create art after immersing myself in the fairs. And we can’t forget to mention Intersect Palm Springs which opens on the 12th. So much art to see, which helps get our collective minds off the shit show in Washington.

One of the places we have art right here is Poet’s Place. Every month Linda Kaye gathers poets from all over the world to share there thoughts and writings. Good stuff. And we have a repeat piece from Mary Francis Spenser, who recently passed away from cancer. Fuck cancer. We’ll miss you Mary Francis.

In the space below I’m listing some of your art viewing options around the Los Angeles area, and Palm Springs if you want to head out there. Modernism opens February 13th and is right next to Art Intersect Palm Springs, at the Convention Center.
