It finally feels like fall and I’m ok with that. You know what else I’m ok with is showing my vaccination card at the door of an establishment. It happened and I was happy. The more they ask, the more people will get vaxxed, or they can’t hang with the rest of us. OK. But what about the art? Oh, there’s a bunch. And music. Like this weekend at Sycamore Grove Park, you’ll find Councilmemeber Gil Cedillo’s 8th Annual Latin Jazz and Music Festival. Always a good time there! I’ll be at the Culver City Art Walk and Roll slinging my wares and talking to folks. Cactus Gallery will be having there first in person reception at the Spring arts Collective from 106pm on Saturday. I wish I could be in two places at once. Go see them if you can’t come see me.
Other cool information is also listed below. Another place to visit here on the site is Poet’s Place. Linda Kaye compiles a wonderful gathering of poets and their poetry.
Found over at the web site, This is Colossal I found this article about a show here in Los Angeles…
If you’re in Los Angeles, stop by The Golden Pagoda between October 14 and 24 to see the quirky, spirited works in person, and check out the available pieces on Instagram. As with previous shows, 10 percent of all sales will be donated to cat care, with this year’s funds going to Kitt Crusaders, Faces of Castelar, and Milo’s Sanctuary.

Another show I’m planning on checking out is the Warhol Show at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex.
