Silence is not an option. If you’re silent and awaiting some savior, you are going to be sorely disappointed. You are your savior. You can’t be silent, if you oppose the atrocities that this horrific administration. If you are into what they’re doing, or you’re a supporter of tiny t, please explain to me what it is that you like about him. I’ve discovered that the MAGA types I’ve tried to talk to ( a very limited group thankfully), I got no explanation, just hostility and name calling. So grown up. Anyway, conversations are important. The days of, “we don’t discuss politics and religion,” are over. They have to be. That’s why we are here, right now. Curiousity has been lost by the other side. Be curious folks. Research. Discuss. Expand your mind. Make something. Use the parts of your brain you might have put on hold. Take a class. Go to a museum. How about a bookstore? Read something new. Touch grass. Care about others. Simple actions to help you be better for yourself and others, since we’re all in this together.
Go check out Poet’s Place to see what Linda and her group of poets have to say. Always interesting. There’s a lot of art out there right now as well. Go check it out. Below I’m listing some suggestions. Grab some friends and go see art. Be inspired to make art. And go protest. And boycott.
